Sunshine Fund

As Nobles age and/or experience health or financial problems, they may be forced to move into a nursing home or with a family member or friend. This can result in sudden changes to the Noble's ability to pay his Shrine dues. We sometimes lose touch with them. We've heard of Nobles dying, not as an Oasis Shriner, but as a former Oasis Shriner. Let's not allow that to happen. Others, while healthy, have temporary financial setbacks and find it difficult to include Shrine dues in their budget for the short term.

The Oasis Sunshine Fund provides assistance. A Noble may automatically qualify for dues relief if his age and years as a Shriner total 110. Others will qualify on a case by case basis. The challenge is to identify those Nobles in need. Please make an effort to call or check on Nobles you haven't seen or heard from in a while. It will make his day, and yours too.
